NEW TO YOU LATE SUMMER WINES
Tuesday, September 1st at 4pm – Sold Out

Let our award winning Wine Director, Aaron Wood-Snyderman, take you on a tour-de-force of some lesser known wine varietals that are GREAT summertime drinkers! In addition to tasting the amazing wines he has chosen for this class, Aaron will continue this educational program by focusing on learning to identify flavors in wine.

  • 2017 Domaine Huet, Clos du Bourg, Sec, Vouvray, Loire Valley, FR:
Domaine Huet is THE producer out of Vouvray! This dry Chenin Blanc shows off all that is great from this beloved region.
  • 2019 Delille Roussanne, Ciel du Cheval Vineyard, Red Mountain, WA:
Washington favorite Delille Cellars does a stellar job with Roussanne, a varietal that is originally native to France’s Rhȏne Valley.
  • 2019 Domaine Tempier Rosé, Bandol, FR:
Domaine Tempier puts out amazing red and white wines from Provence, but it is this bottling for which they are most famous! This Rosé is not only delicious and world famous, it is one of the hardest to get bottles of wine around!

PINOTS & SYRAHS AROUND THE WORLD

Our award-winning Wine Director, Aaron Wood-Snyderman, will be doing a two part series on “Chameleon Grapes.”

Pinot Noir and Syrah are two grape varietals that really show a tremendous sense of place. For the first week, we will be tasting three amazing Pinot Noirs from around the world, each from a growing region that is acclaimed for the varietal. For our second week, we will be doing the same with Syrah. For both classes we will really delve in to what makes these wines (from the same grape, but different parts of the world) so distinct.
